Aloha! My name is Shauna Mudgett. I am currently serving at Colorado West Christian School as one of the First Grade teachers. Although my husband, Evan and I have lived in Hawaii and California, we have been Montrose locals for over seven years. We moved here to be with family when our twins, Jackson and Theo, were only six months old. We had our third son, Aksel in 2020, and have been forever grateful to live here with both sides of our family. 

I’m excited to be back in the classroom. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, both in public and private and have had the opportunity to teach grades 1st through 8th. I achieved a Multiple Subject Clear Credential in California after graduating with my teaching license from Fresno Pacific University. I also attended Westminster Theological Seminary -California for a year and a half, and had the privilege of learning both Greek and Hebrew and more about the truths of God’s word. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to teach my first graders about God’s word and the amazing world He has created.
