This is my 48th year serving in education. I served for 47 years in the classroom in Georgia and Colorado. In Georgia, I taught Gifted & Talented (k-12) for 10 years. I also taught 8th grade math for many years. I taught 4th and 5th grade also. In Colorado, I taught computer programming, yearbook, and technology at D'Evelyn High School for 2 years until moving to Montrose. In Montrose I taught 7th grade math at Olathe Middle for 6 years before moving to Centennial, where I taught 8th grade math, Algebra I, and a Multimedia-Journalism class which included the yearbook. My first year at CWCS, I taught 5th & 6th grades. This year I am honored to serve as MS/HS principal.
