Hi! My name is Sharon Penasa and I am the K5 teacher at CWCS Montrose campus. This is my second year teaching at this school, but I have been working in teaching as well as administration in elementary schools for over 30 years. After graduation from college, my

husband and I moved back to Montrose where my husband was born and raised, and have raised five children here in this amazing community. We currently live on a small farm where my husband grew up and enjoy gardening, as well as raising chickens, cows and horses. We live on a small “homestead’ near our daughter and her family, as well as other close family. We are now enjoying being grandparents to four grandchildren, with one on the way in 2023. Teaching has been my passion for most of my adult years and having a kindergarten class of my own in this school is such a blessing.
